DESCRIPTION
Pantoprazole Sodium for Injection is Powder for solution for intravenous use. It is white to almost white loose lumps
or (and) powder.
Each vial of powder for solution for intravenous use contains Pantoprazole Sodium, equivalent to Pantoprazole 40mg.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor indicated for the following:
• Short-term Treatment (7 to 10 days) of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) Associated With a
History of Erosive Esophagitis.
• Pathological Hypersecretion Conditions Including Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
The recommended adult dose is 40 mg pantoprazole given once daily by intravenous infusion for 7 to 10 days.

I.V. (pantoprazole sodium) for Injection: 40 mg pantoprazole.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation or to substituted benzimidazoles.
